Hi, I am Nishant Gupta, Volunteer Network Manager at World Animal Protection, India
I am currently working as Volunteer Network Manager for the World Animal Protection in India. As a young development professional, having dual degrees in Social Work and Human Rights, I started my career in 2006 and have worked on social issues like HIV/ AIDS, Maternal and Child Health, Child Labor, Micro Finance, Child Education, Right to Information, and Animal Welfare. Over these years, I have worked with various national and international organizations in running the programmes, conducting training for master trainers and building capacity of NGOs.
As for VN Manager, I’m responsible for recruiting, training and supervising the volunteers in the organization. My role involves the systematic and logical process of working with and through volunteers to achieve organizations’ vision and mission. An avid fav of Ratan Tata, I strongly believe in his saying, “All of us do not have equal talent. Yet, all of us have an equal opportunity to develop our talents.”
