December 2025 Dogs’ Winter Jackets Drive: Keeping Community Dogs Warm
Blog
In December 2025, our volunteers stepped out across communities to protect street dogs from the harsh winter cold. Through our Winter Jackets Drive, we distributed warm jackets to vulnerable community dogs, ensuring they stay safe, comfortable, and protected during dropping temperatures.
Drive 1: Dwarka Sector 16 - Protecting Six Vulnerable Puppies
In Dwarka Sector 16, Delhi, our winter jackets drive focused on six vulnerable community puppies struggling to survive the dropping temperatures. Winters can be especially harsh for young dogs, whose smaller bodies make it harder for them to retain heat.
Through this local initiative, the puppies were carefully fitted with warm jackets to help protect them from cold winds and night-time chills. What may seem like a small intervention can make a life-saving difference for young animals exposed to the elements.
This drive served as a reminder that compassion at the community level can directly protect lives, especially the most vulnerable.
Drive 2: Faculty-Led Initiative – NK Bagrodia School, Delhi
In Delhi, a faculty member from NK Bagrodia School took the initiative to support community dogs through the Winter Jackets Drive. By stepping forward, they demonstrated how educators can lead by example, extending compassion beyond classrooms and into communities.
Warm jackets were distributed to street dogs in the surrounding area, offering protection from the cold and helping them cope with the winter season. The initiative also sparked conversations about empathy, responsible coexistence, and community care.
Acts like these show how individual leadership can inspire broader social responsibility toward animals.
Drive 3: Student Volunteers – Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College
Students from Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College came together as volunteers to support community dogs during the winter months. Their participation reflected the growing awareness among young people about animal welfare and humane action.
Through this drive, winter jackets were distributed to vulnerable street dogs, helping them stay warm and protected against harsh weather conditions. Beyond physical protection, the initiative represented something larger, youth engagement in building a kinder, more compassionate society.
When students step up for animals, they help shape a future where empathy becomes action.
Your support can help us reach more community dogs this winter, donate today and be the warmth they need.
