Animal Protector

A Community-Powered Network to Protect, Rescue & Rehabilitate Animals of All Kinds

Together for All Animals - Street, Wild, and Everything In Between

India’s animals—whether roaming the streets or hidden in the wild—face daily struggles due to neglect, exploitation, illegal trade, and habitat loss. From injured street dogs and abandoned cattle, to trafficked pangolins, leopards, turtles, and birds, their suffering often goes unseen and unaddressed.

Animal Protector is our integrated campaign that unites two urgent missions:

  • Protecting community animals through rescue, treatment, vaccination, and humane care.
  • Safeguarding wildlife through rapid response to trafficking, conflict rescue, rehabilitation, and coordinated enforcement.

What We Do

Rescue, Treat, and Rehabilitate Animals in Distress

  • Provide medical treatment and emergency rescue for injured or sick street animals.
  • Intercept, rescue, and rehabilitate wildlife affected by illegal trade or human-wildlife conflict.
  • Partner with veterinarians, shelters, and wildlife rehabilitation centers for recovery and safe release.

Engage Local Communities as Animal Protectors

  • Train community volunteers—students, residents, animal lovers—as first responders for both street and wild animals.
  • Run awareness programs on animal welfare laws, responsible coexistence, and how to report abuse or trafficking.

Build a Grassroots Animal Protection Model

  • Develop practical, cost-effective rescue protocols tailored to local needs.
  • Strengthen collaboration between forest departments, urban authorities, NGOs, and the public for sustained impact.

Why It Matters

Every life matters - whether it’s a dog hit by a car or a pangolin rescued from poachers.

Animal Protector ensures these lives are not forgotten.

By preventing disease, relieving suffering, and rescuing those in danger, we not only protect animals—but also improve public health, community empathy, and environmental harmony.

Immediate Impact

  • Faster rescue and treatment save lives and reduce long-term suffering.
  • Community surveillance and reporting help intercept trafficking and cruelty early.
  • Collaborative response systems ensure animals are rescued, treated, and either rehomed or returned to the wild.

A Vision for the Future

The Animal Protector model is designed to be replicable across India - empowering communities to take action, building stronger wildlife enforcement networks, and changing how society values and treats animals.

We believe a truly compassionate society protects every species, not just the most visible ones.
